As a high school student in China, I often found internship opportunities are hard to get due to lack of family connections, which reduce youth’s chance of applying the knowledge they learned from book to real working environment and they are less familiar with their dream career. There are numerous obstacles for high school students without family connections to get internship opportunities as most companies are reluctant to have high school students as interns since teenagers are more of a burden to them. Me, as the Founder InternStation, hoping that InternStation will be a platform to connect high school students with personalized and affordable internship opportunities and encourage more students to know their career requirement to get ready for future job application!
